Question Answered
My screen has large patterns of grey/black spots. I have a Viewsonic pjd6381 projector. Asked by Ollie M. On Jan 29, 2023
There are a few ways to fix grey or black spots. It may simply be a dusty lens, so clean the lens with dry, clean, lens-friendly microfiber cloth or wipe. Your projector may be overheating, so clean the internal fan or unplug the projector and let it cool down. Lastly, it may be just a old lamp in your projector, so just replace the lamp. If none of that works, try replacing your DMD chip or LCD panel in your projector.
